GATE Computer Science Engineering Paper Analysis (2005-2015)


GATE 2016 Application Process is over and the countdown for the actual exam has begun. Aspirants wishing to succeed in GATE 2016 must start their preparation efforts in a serious manner.

Analysis of GATE Computer Science Engineering Exam (2005-2015)

This year, IISC Bangalore is conducting GATE 2016 between 30th Jan to 7th Feb on Saturdays & Sundays. GATE CS 2016 Examination is in accordance with the pattern specified in the exam prospectus. The paper consists of 65 Questions with a maximum score of 100 marks.

Some Important Guidelines to Follow During Preparation:

  • Nobody knows better than you about what works for you. So chart your own preparation plan and schedule.
  • Make it mandatory to prepare a Handbook containing the Formulae that need to be learnt and their gist. This handbook can be pretty useful during the last days before the exam as a quick reckoner for calculations.
  • Also make it a habit of preparing short notes on all topics that you have been studying. These will be useful to revise faster during the last days of the exam
  • Make sure you also give equal weightage to Mathematics and General Aptitude. Each constitutes 15 % of the total marks in the question paper. These sections are scoring and go well to add up to your overall score in GATE 2016 exam.
