## IBPS PO Prelims 2017 Exam Analysis: 8 October (Slot 2)

The IBPS PO Prelims Exam has 3 sections i.e. English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. There are a total of 100 questions carrying 1 mark each. The total duration for all the three sections is 1 hour. Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.

The level of the questions asked in reasoning section was Moderate. The questions asked in reasoning section were mostly Direct. This section included questions from Syllogism, Inequality & Coding-Decoding as well. The topic-wise breakdown is as follows:

This section was moderate. This year, IBPS PO Prelims 2017 posed a major threat to aspirants who relied heavily upon scoring well in English Section. First, most scoring topics like Cloze Test were nowhere to be found and Sentence Improvement & spotting error questions were challenging to solve.
