Jharkhand SSC CGL Syllabus Exam Pattern 2016: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission organizes the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam Every Tear. It is a state-level exam which is conducted to select candidates for various government jobs in the public sector of Jharkhand. There are around 551 vacancies for the posts of Block Welfare Officer, Cooperative Officer, Secretariat Officer, Block Supply Officer, etc. JSSC has not yet released the date of the examination but the candidates need to prepare for the exam.

The Jharkhand SSC CGL 2016 comprises of three levels. The candidate has to qualify in all of them to be eligible for the concerned job. The 3 stages are as follows,
- Preliminary Examination
- Mains Examination
- Personal Interview
Jharkhand SSC CGL Prelims 2016
The prelims will consist of 6 subjects, namely, General Studies, Jharkhand General Knowledge, General Mathematics, General Science, Mental Ability and Computer Knowledge. These subjects add up to a total of 450 marks.

This exam will only serve as a screening test.
- The time duration to attempt the exam is 2 hours (120 minutes).
- There will be 150 questions divided into a total of 6 sections.
- Section I carries 40 questions of 3 marks each, Section II carries 30 questions of 3 marks each, and Section III, IV, V and VI carry 20 questions each with every question for 3 marks.
- The exam will have multiple choice questions.
Jharkhand SSC CGL Mains 2016
The mains examination will be conducted in two steps respectively, Paper I and Paper II. If you qualify in these, only then you will be eligible to be called for the interview.
- Both the papers will be of 2-hour duration each.
- There will be a total of 300 questions in both the papers combined.
- Paper I consists of subjects like General Hindi and General English.
- Paper II has subjects related to General Knowledge.
- Both Paper I and Paper II are compulsory.

Questions will require general understanding of science, including matters of everyday observation and experience, as may be expected from a well-educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific discipline.
Jharkhand SSC CGL 2016: Interview
After the candidate qualifies for both the prelims and the mains, he/she will be called for a personal interview where a panel of some selected authorities are going to grill the candidates and ask them certain job related questions for which the candidates are supposed to give satisfactory answers.
