SSC CGL Tier 2 Re-Exam Analysis: The Staff Selection Commission has successfully conducted the SSC CGL (Tier-II) Re-Examination-2017 of quantitative aptitude today i.e 9th March 2018.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Re-Exam Analysis 2017 for Quantitative Aptitude Paper

Revisiting the exam pattern for SSC CGL Tier-II Quant Paper, these are the most essential points to ponder upon.

  • There were a total number of 100 questions.
  • The total marks for Quant Paper was 200 Marks.
  • Time allotted for solving was 2 hours (120 minutes)
  • Each Question carried 2 marks. 0.5 negative mark for every incorrect answer.

From the table above, we can clearly see that questions based on Algebra, Geometry and Volume/ Surface Area constituted of maximum number of questions. While most candidates the paper to be doable, some questions were just plain confusing.

Overall Number of Good Attempts in SSC CGL Tier-II Quant (Paper 1)

Based on the difficulty level of the paper and the competition among candidates, we expect an overall number of good attempts in Tier 2 Quant Paper to be between 71 to 76
