SSC CHSL 16th January Exam Analysis: The Staff Selection Commission holds responsibility for conducting Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) level examination for the recruitment of LDC, DEO, Assistants & Court Clerks all over the country. Continuing the recruitment process, SSC has moved to Day XVI i.e 16th Jan Exam Shifts.

SSC CHSL 16th January Exam Analysis: Section wise Difficulty Level

Like our previous blogs, we will commence our article by introducing SSC CHSL (10+2) exam pattern. As we all know that SSC CHSL Paper had a new exam pattern this year. Also, 50 marks were assigned separately to each section.

There were 4 sections in SSC CHSL Tier I examination namely General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and English Language.

There was negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. The total time duration of the paper was 75 Minutes. Now, let us talk about the level of the examination conducted on 16th January 2017.

Like previous days’ level, today’s paper had an overall Moderate Difficulty Level too, which was quite obvious owing to the new exam pattern for SSC CHSL Preliminary examination. Let us move section-wise now:

SSC CHSL 16th January Exam Analysis: Quantitative Aptitude

Encircling all the general topics for Quant Section, there was no new bombshell as maths again covered a significant portion of Arithmetic numericals.

SSC CHSL (10+2) Tier-I Exam: Overall Exam Level & Good Attempts

After analysing previous year SSC CHSL Cut off and SSC CHSL level of examination, we have come to conclusion that overall SSC CHSL 2016 paper was of moderate level. 

Note: The questions being asked were based on analytical and conceptual understanding of the basics. Also, SSC designed some questions to check the hypothetical thinking of the candidates.

Due to revised pattern of SSC CHSL 2016, number of questions per section has been reduced to 25 from 50 questions. Let us now formulate our good attempts according to the above mentioned exam analysis:
