### A and B together can do a piece of work in 30 days. A having worked for 16 days , B finished the remaining work alone in 44 days. in how many days shall b finish the whole work alone??? kindly help ASAP.

## This question is equivalent to saying A & B work together for 16 days completing 16/30 part of work. Remaining 14/30 part of work is completed by B alone in 44 - 16 = 28 days. => B alone can complete work in 28 x 30/14 = 60

## See A works for 16 days means 14 day work is remaining for A and B together and for B alone the 44 day work is remaining then equation will be A+B/B =14/44 ==7/22
