How to Attempt UIIC AO 2016
On the Day before the examination you are all set up to appear for the Examination syllabus wise but believe me you still have the scope to improve by following the below mentioned points:
- Appear for a full length mock test with a Similar Pattern to UIIC AO.
- Analyse each section and you will get the feel that which topics under each section are among your strengths and where you lack. Just avoid things where you lack, focus on things that are among your strengths.
- Prioritise the attempt in such a way that your target should hit bulls-eye i.e. manage the time accordingly to optimise the sectional and overall cut-off.
- You should have the clarity regarding which section you are going to attempt to maximise the score and which to clear the sectional cut-offs only.
- Build a Time Management to attempt paper, be realistic and implement that as much as possible.
The more you take it seriously, the better chances are of cracking the actual UIIC AO Examination. Few Points to follow while attempting the actual UIIC AO 2016.
- Start with the section that is among your strength and you have to maximise score in that section. This will motivate you as well.
- Do not focus on topics that are among your weakness until and unless you have the time after making the sufficient number of attempts.
- Avoid sticking to a particular question. You need to keep the pace up at all times.
- In Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude Section, read the Question once and if it appear to be solvable within 1 min go for it, else leave it and move.
- Appear for the simple Questions first and then go for the harder one, as it is less than a minute to attempt.
Unlike last Year, in the Descriptive Part for UIIC AO, you have to write 2 descriptions (essay and Letter) this year in the time duration of 30 minutes. The minimum cut off is mentioned by the Conducting Authority for UR and Reserved Category. The candidate has to act smarty.
- You might have practised letter as well as precis writing by now. Just try to optimise it. Also, analyze the time dedicated to each article.
- Letter has a prescribed format of writing and includes fewer words comparatively so go for it first and dedicate 10-12 minutes on it and then start with the second article framing the points first and then elaborate.
- Be specific ,use simple words, avoid large lines and Grammatical Errors.
