The Written Examination for Army School Teacher Recruitment was held for the post of PGT, TGT, PRT and the candidates attempted the paper online. The online recruitment examination consisted of the following papers, depending on the post one has applied for.

For PGT and PRT Posts, the first paper consisted of the following sections. Each question carried 1 mark for correct answer and 0.25 negative score for incorrect.

- Reasoning Ability: 15 Qs
- General English: 15 Qs
- Quantitative Aptitude: 10 Qs
- Teaching Aptitude: 15 Qs
- Computer Science: 20 Qs
The second paper depended upon the candidate’s preference of subject, which has the same marking pattern as above and 90 questions. The total number of questions asked were 180, which makes the total marks to be 180. The total time was 3 Hours i.e. 180 minutes.
For the AWES Exam Analysis, most candidates considered the paper to be ranging from Easy to Moderate in terms of level of difficulty. The questions based on reasoning had some tricky language and quant questions were a bit time taking. Other than that, most of the paper could be solved without much difficulty.
