ESIC Eligibility Criteria 2018
According to the specifications provided in ESIC Recruitment Notification, the following criteria have to be fulfilled in order to successfully apply for ESIC 2018 Recruitment.
Education Qualification
- A degree of a recognized University (Preference will be given to the graduates in Commerce/Law/Management)
- Working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and database
Age limit
Between 21-27 years until the closing date 5-10-2018. Age relaxation applies to various categories.

ESIC SSO Recruitment 2018 invites candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria specified as in the Official Notification. The Criterion reckoned in this regard is as under:
- Visit the official website to apply for ESIC (www.esic.nic.in)
- Candidates can find the relevant navigation tab in home page itself.
- To register application, choose the tab “Click here for Registration” and enter Name, Contact details, and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
- File the online application with correct details like name, address, qualification, and more Upload documents, photograph, and Signature.
- Fill up the details without error that most important and give submit.
- Application submission should be before of the last date and do not forget to take the print out for future use.

Scheme of Examination for the post of SSO is proposed as under
Phase I – Preliminary Exam

- Phase –I is qualifying in nature and marks will not be reckoned for final merit.
- For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one-fourth of the mark assigned to that question.
- The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II in the ratio of 1:10 i.e. about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase – I
- If the examination is held in more than one session, the scores across various sessions will be equated following standard practice to adjust for slight differences in the difficulty level of different test batteries used across sessions

(ii) Typing matter on MS Word with formatting – 20 Marks
(iii) Preparation of Table on MS Excel with use of formulae – 20 Marks

- The working knowledge of PWD Candidates who are unable to type shall be assessed by holding an Objective Type Computer Test of 50 Marks having 50 Questions with no negative marking.
- Computer Skill Test and Descriptive paper will be qualifying in nature. Marks obtained will not be reckoned for merit ranking.
