FCI Salary: Food Corporation of India has released the FCI Category 2 notification for the recruitment of Managers in various categories. A total of 330 Manager vacancies has been released and candidates can apply online for these posts on or before October 27, 2019. FCI Salary 2019 – Pay Scale, Allowances, Job Profile
As per the FCI official notification (category 2), candidates will have to serve the training period for six months. Later on, the salary will be hiked and other allowances will also be provided as per rules. However, note that the training is part of the recruitment process and candidates need to complete the training successfully for the final appointment. Besides that, there will be no training period for Manager (Hindi) post.
FCI 2019 Salary – PayScale
The FCI Salary will be paid as per the Industrial Dearness Allowance
(IDA) Pay Scale. The pay will be Rs. 40000/- to 140000/-.
The FCI Salary during the FCI Training will be Rs. 40000/- and this will be a fixed stipend (consolidated stipend).
Once the candidate has completed the training period the candidate will be paid anywhere between Rs. 40000 to Rs. 140000. The Basic pay here will be around Rs. 40,000/-. Besides the basic pay, candidates will be paid the Dearness allowances and other allowances such as house rent allowances depending on the place of the posting (City A, B or C).
The exact pay will vary from post to post but to have an overall idea, the salary including the allowances is likely to be around Rs. 71000 to Rs. 84000 plus other benefits (such as pension, medical benefits, etc).

- As a manager, one will act as a front line in various cadres indulging in manual provisions, procedures, managing reports and its submission.

- Submission of files to superiors with meticulous scrutiny of data, rule position, precedents, facts and apply his mind for alternatives etc., in the overall interest of FCI to help his superiors in decision making.
- To ensure the disposal of cases related to his area of work. To illustrate it, Assistant Manager(Legal) would monitor the legal cases and analyse the nature of cases and make efforts for withdrawal of cases for out of court settlements, filing applications for expediting the cases etc.
Note that, the post of General Manager and Accountants are more likely to be office work whereas the Depot, Technical cadres are more of filed work including rendering their services in the Mandis/Procurement Centres, Depots, Godowns, and offices of FCI.
