IBPS Clerk Mains Last Minute Preparation Tips 2018: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has scheduled the mains examination for IBPS Clerk Recruitment on 20th January 2018.

IBPS Clerk Mains Last Minute Preparation Tips 2018

The Examination will be divided into 4 sections i.e. Reasoning & Computer Section, English, Quantitative Aptitude & General/ Financial Awareness. The total time to solve the written examination is 160 minutes. Owing to a major restructuring in the selection procedure of Bank Clerks, the Final Merit List is prepared on the basis of marks secured in the Mains Examination only.

1. General/ Financial Awareness Section will be the Game changer in this Examination as higher the attempt in this section will be directly proportional to your selection. Emphasis more on this section, focus on topics in the order mentioned below:

Banking Affairs/ Financial Awareness > Current Affairs > Static Affairs

2. Reasoning and Computer Section window will be open for 45 minutes and Banking Aspirants consider Reasoning as their Strengths. Practice Visual/ Verbal Reasoning more so that you manage to do approx. 85% of Reasoning Questions with full accuracy.

3. English Section will have mixed Questions from both Grammar and Non-Grammar Section. So, practice more and more Questions, increase vocabulary by learning new words, read the newspaper.

4. Quantitative Section will be based on sets, Data Interpretation Questions will be there in the huge number. Quadratic /Linear Equations will be important from the Question perspective.

Stay calm, Do not overburden yourself with new topics and relentless revision. This is an examination which will test your ability to work optimally in times of pressure. So, you need to stay calm during this week and avoid any sort of stress. And do not worry about the difficulty level of the exam. Overall cut off will be published in accordance to the level of the exam.
