IBPS PO Exam Analysis & Prelims Cut off 2016: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducted the preliminary examination for IBPS CWE PO/ MT today. The Written Examination was conducted online, in 4 different slots. IBPS PO Exam Analysis – 16 October 2016

The IBPS PO Prelims Exam had 3 sections i.e. English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. There are a total of 100 questions carrying 1 mark each.

The total duration for all the three papers is 1 hour. Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.

The Quant Section of IBPS PO Prelims Examination was both challenging and full of calculations. A number of questions of series could be solved only if you have had good amount of practice.

DI Questions were a bit calculative but a major score point for the ones equipped to answer those questions in time.


IBPS PO Exam Analysis for English Language

  • Level of Difficulty: Difficult
  • Good Attempts: 11-13
  • Optimal Time: 15 Minutes

This was the surprise we were talking about. This year, IBPS PO Prelims 2016 posed a major threat to aspirants who relied heavily of scoring well in English Section. First, most scoring topics like Synonyms-Antonyms were no where to be found and Cloze Test was challenging.

  1. yes english was really tough….i attempted 18 but not sure about accuracy…in maths 23 n reasoning 25 bt in both these sections i m more confident… dnt knw what will happen in english.

    Reson- 22
    with quite good accuracy
    but have doubt in overall cutoff …..will i ll be able to clear the overall cutoff?
