IBPS PO Prelims Last Minute Preparation Tips: As we all know that IBPS PO Prelims are about to begin in less than a week’s duration, many aspirants must be done with their revisions and some would be about to finish it off.    

The Preliminary exam for IBPS PO 2018 has been scheduled on 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st October 2018. In such a short span of time left, our last minute preparation tips for each section will help candidates to gain confidence. 

 

IBPS PO Prelims 2018: Last Minute Preparation Tips

The Preliminary Examination for IBPS CWE PO/ MT will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and the pattern will be Objective MCQ type. As per the official IBPS PO exam Pattern, For the first time, IBPS has introduced sectional timings. There will be 100 questions in total from 3 sections – English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability.

Let us begin with quantitative aptitude

Quantitative Aptitude

  1. Scoring Well in Quantitative Aptitude Section will make the necessary difference between getting qualified or rejected in a recruitment examination.
  2. Preparation should never amount to a heightened stress level. Make sure your study timetable for Quantitative Aptitude Section for IBPS PO Prelims include mathematical quizzes and games like Sudoku

For IBPS PO Preliminary Examination, there will be 35 Questions in total from the following topics.

Reasoning Ability

Reasoning Section will comprise of 35 Questions. Don’t try to overburden yourself starting new topics.

  1. Most of the candidates consider Reasoning as their strength.
  2. The trick to attempt the maximum number of questions in Reasoning Section in minimum time is to attempt the difficult puzzles in the end.
  3. Read Question Twice in order to understand it correctly with no scope of mistake in interpretation of the meaning
  4. Practice more and more puzzles because weightage of puzzles is more. Almost every time a puzzle and sitting arrangement comes with 4-5 questions and there are 4 sets. So, overall 60% of the paper comprises of puzzle and sitting arrangement.

For IBPS PO Preliminary Examination, there will be 35 Questions in total from the following topics.

English Language

The IBPS PO English language section paper is taken in order to test a candidate’s understanding and hold over the language. One can easily score good marks in IBPS PO English Language section if one’s basic concepts are clear.

  1. Practice Questions form frequent topics like Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Spotting the Error, Fill in the Blanks etc.
  2. Don’t try to make many Guesses in this section as well as Guesses will lead you Uncertainty.
  3. Regular Practice, Constant Reading from various sources and progress report will help you understand your scale of improvement.

For IBPS PO Preliminary Examination, there will be 30 Questions in total from the following topics.
