I was quite nervous at the time of the interview, I was allotted 8:30 AM Slot. There were 5 members in my interview panel (4 Male & 1 Female). I wished them Good Morning, they replied the same with a smile. They offered me a chair to sit, I thanked them.
Interviewer 1: Hello Mamta(Looking at my Resume) Tell me about your Yourself?
Me: Answered!
Interviewer 2: What attracts you to a career in banking?
Me: A job in the banking sector is an evolving job. With more and more money being generated every day in newer and newer ways, the roles and responsibilities of banks also change regularly. With the Indian govt promoting financial inclusion & agriculture RRBs have a very important role to play in reaching those aims.
Interviewer 2: What is a DSPR Ratio?
Me: Answered correctly!
Interviewer 2: What is Debt Equity Ratio?
Me: Answered correctly (Convinced the interviewer).
Interviewer 2: You are from Delhi. If you got placed, you will be moved to rural areas, how will you manage? (Situational question)
Me: I was expecting this question. Answered well.
Interviewer 3: Why you want to join RRB?
Me: The work pressure and stress is less than that in commercialized banks. Since the chances of getting posted within the home state are more, it allows the employees to have a good work-life balance.
Interviewer 3: Ok Thank you Mamta!
Me: I wished Everyone.

These were the main questions asked in my IBPS RRB Interview round. Apart from these, they were also cross-questioning me on the answers and facts and figures told by me. I felt they were testing the depth of my knowledge. My IBPS RRB Interview lasted for around 20 minutes.
