KVS Exam Structure & Syllabus 2021
The KVS Exam Pattern 2021 is released by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan on its official website. Hence, candidates must keep a tab on the KVS Official Notification to get complete exam pattern details. The recruitment process follows a two-stage procedure that comprises a written test followed by a personal interview.
KVS Written Exam: The first phase of the KVS Recruitment 2021 is a written exam that tests candidates on multiple aspects. The exam comprises three sections for PGT teachers and two sections for TGT teachers. Candidates clearing the KVS written test are called out for a personal interview.
KVS Personal Interview: Candidates scoring at least the cutoff marks or more are qualified for the personal interview round. The interviews are organised at different centres throughout the country. Candidates are interviewed by experts who mark candidates based on their interpersonal skills, teaching skills, and mental aptitude.
KVs Merit List: A cumulative of written and interview marks are used to create a merit list. Candidates scoring at least the cutoff marks in both the recruitment phases make it to the merit list.
KVS Exam Pattern- PRT
The KVS PRT exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the post of trained graduate teachers in KVS.
- The examination will be conducted in two parts, i.e., Paper-I and Paper-II
- The KVS PRT Exam is an objective test consisting of multiple-choice questions from various sections.
- Part 1 consists of 20 questions, and part 2 consists of a total of 130 questions.

The KVS TGT exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the post of trained graduate teachers in KVS.
- The KVS TGT written test will consist of one paper for TGTs (English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Maths, Social Studies and Science.
- The total number of questions asked in the exam is 150, each carrying one mark.
- The total time allotted to complete the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The KVS Vice- Principal exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the post of Vice Principal in KVS.
- The KVS Vice Principal examination will be conducted in four parts, i.e., Paper-I, Paper-II, Paper-III & Paper-IV.
- Paper-I consists of a total of 20 questions. Paper-II consists of a total of 50 questions, Paper-III consists of a total of 50 questions, and Paper-IV consists of 50 questions.
