Nationality/ Citizenship
A candidate must be either:
- A citizen of India, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 01 January 1962 to permanently settle in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar (Burma), Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar) to settle in India permanently.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (2) and (3) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
MP SI Age Limit
Candidates appearing for the exam must be born between 02 January 1986 and 01 January 2000 to be eligible for the MP SI 2021 exam.

Candidates applying for MP SI 2021 will undergo a selection procedure comprised of three stages, i.e. written exam, physical efficiency test and interview. - For Subedar/ASI/ASI Special Branches and Platoon Commander, the candidates must take the exam for subjects like Hindi, English and GK.
- For ASI Radio, ASI(QD/Fingerprint) and ASI Ordinance Police, it is compulsory for the candidates to take the exam for all the subjects such as Hindi/English, GK, Chemistry, Physics and Math.
Stage II: Mp Police Physical Efficiency Test
Candidates clearing the MP Police written exam are invited for the physical efficiency test. Here, the candidates are marked based on their performance in the tasks, such as 800 meters race, Long jump, and Shot putt. It is mandatory to clear all the tasks to qualify for the subsequent recruitment round. Both male and female candidates have to perform the tasks as depicted below.
