RBI Assistant Exam Pattern Phase I- Prelims
The Online Computer-Based Test (CBT) for RBI Assistant Prelims 2016 will be conducted in objective MCQ pattern. There will be 100 questions in total and 3 sections– English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability.

- The total number of questions will be 100.
- The Paper mode will be English/ Hindi.
- Each question carries 1 mark.
- The total time to solve the entire paper is 60 minutes.
Marks secured in RBI Assistant Prelims will be taken into consideration while selecting candidates for Mains.
RBI Assistant Exam Pattern Phase II- Mains
In the Mains examination, there will be 5 sections and 200 questions in total. Each question will carry 1 mark.
- The paper will be bilingual in nature i.e. Hindi and English.
- The composite time to solve the entire paper is 120 minutes.
If a candidate is shortlisted in RBI Assistant Mains examination, he/she will be called for final phase i.e Interview round.
RBI Assistant Phase III: Interview round
There will be an interview round for all the successful candidates who will be passing RBI Assistant Mains Phase. RBI Assistant Phase III i.e Interview round will carry 35 marks.
