SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Review: This is the third week of SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination and the first slot of written examination was conducted from at 9 – 10 AM followed by the second one between 11:30 – 12:30 PM. The overall difficulty of the paper can be said easy, but only for those who have been studying quite regularly. With a marginal difficulty level, we can also expect a bit of surge in SBI Clerk Cut Off Scores for Preliminary Examination.

It remained the same and the only thing that changed are Stories in RC, Cloze Test and Para Jumbles.

1. Reasoning Ability

This section was moderate with 3 puzzles. Today also no syllogism questions in this section so fair possibility that it will be definitely asked in Main Exam.

  • Alphanumeric series – 5 Questions (Easy)
  • Puzzles n Arrangements (circular and tabular) – 3 sets (15 Questions) (Easy)
  • Miscellaneous (blood relation, direction sense, etc.) – 7 Questions (Easy)

2. Quantitative Aptitude

Quant section was easy to moderate carrying good questions. Only 1 DI was asked with 15 word problems. No quadratic equations questions.

  • Number series – 5 Questions (Easy)
  • Data Interpretation – 1 set (5 Questions) (Easy)  (Table Graph)
  • Questions from other topics including Partnership, Time and Work, SI, Averages, Boat n Stream, Profit/Loss, Mixture n Alligation – 15 Questions (easy to moderate) (Moderate)

Miscellaneous questions include – Age, Mixture Allegation, Partnership, Profit Loss, Average, Boats & Stream, Compound/ Simple Interest, Time & Work, etc.

3. English Language

English section was easy to moderate as always.

  • Reading Comprehension (story based-About two lady who made soup) – 1 passage (10 questions) (Easy)
  • Cloze test (story based- Girl want to see a man) – 5 questions(Easy)
  • Error spotting – 5 questions (Easy)
  • Spelling Correction – 5 questions (Easy)
  • Parajumbles (Story based – Debate in a court about Rich & Poor) – 5 questions (Easy)

  • Cloze test (story based- One man buys donkey from another man.): 5 questions(Easy)
  • Error spotting: 5 questions (Easy)
  • Spelling Correction: 5 questions (Easy)
  • Parajumbles (Story based – Debate in a court about Rich & Poor): 5 questions (Easy)

Questions in Quant Section ranged from easy to moderate. Only 1 question on Data Interpretation was asked with 15 word problems. No quadratic equation questions were asked.
