SBI PO 2017 Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility Criteria for SBI PO 2017 consists of a set of requirements and clauses in terms of Age & Educational Qualification. Let us have a look at it and see if one is eligible to appear for SBI PO Recruitment Examination 2017.
Age Limit: In order to be eligible, a candidate must be between the age of 21 to 30 Years as on 1st April 2017. The age relaxation is as follows:
- SC/ ST: 5 Years
- OBC: 3 Years
- PH: 10 Years
- PWD + OBC: 13 Years
- PWD + SC/ST: 15 Years
Minimum Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.07.2017.
Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 01.07.2017. Candidates possessing qualification of Chartered Accountant may also apply.
SBI PO 2017 Selection Procedure
Similar to most bank examinations for the post of Probationary Officer, the selection procedure for SBI PO 2017 is 3-Tier.
- Phase-I: SBI PO Preliminary Examination (Online CBT)
- Phase-II: SBI PO Mains Examination (Online CBT)
- Phase-III: Group Exercises & Interview
The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for the selection and only the marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), both in Objective Test and Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in GE & Interview (Phase-III) for preparation of the final merit list.
