SBI PO Mains Exam Analysis, Review: 4th June 2017
The pattern of Mains Objective Exam was MCQ based. There was 4 sections: Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language, Data Analysis & Interpretation and General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness.

Pattern of English Language was quite different. Most candidates found the english section quite difficult.
- There were 2 sets of Reading Comprehension, containing 5 questions each.Reading Comprehension was not actually a passage they rather gave it in form of 5-6 statements (pointers).
- Also, there were two types of error detection, 4 questions were based on the conventional pattern and 4 questions were based on a new pattern where there were multiple errors in one sentence and candidate have to identify all the parts with errors in them.
A lot of candidates got to see some new changes in the jumbled sentences, where starting sentence was already provided and rest of the arrangement had to be found by the candidate.
