SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Analysis, Expected Cutoff: The sixth day of SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam received similar response in terms of number of candidates appearing for the exam. The SSC CGL is being conducted online for the very first time. Similar to our previous articles, we will be giving an in-depth analysis for the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam held on 1 September 2016.
Here is the Detailed SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Analysis, highlighting the level of difficulty of each section, the supposed number of good attempts and the expected cutoff for 1 September SSC CGL Tier-I.
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Analysis 2016
The Online Recruitment Paper consisted of the Objective type Questions. As per the revised pattern, the Tier 1 Examination consisted of 100 Questions divided into 4 sections i.e Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness carrying 200 marks in total.

Section-Wise SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Analysis 2016
As explained above, there were 4 sections in SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I). The overall level of difficulty was Moderate, with the majority of questions asked being a bit of a task to solve. But, there were a few easy ones too. Let us elaborate further by analysing each section of SSC CGL Tier-I 2016.
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Analysis: Reasoning Aptitude
The reasoning section was Easy to Moderate. Maximum questions were asked from the following sections:

Just like previous month’s papers, Reasoning Section was easy to attempt. Some questions were a little challenging related to the High Level Reasoning topics such as Classification, Picture Diagram etc. Attempting 20-22 questions will be considered as a good attempt.
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Analysis: Quantitative Aptitude
Similar to the Reasoning section, Quantitative Aptitude was Easy to Moderate. Questions were asked mostly from the following topics:

Most of the questions were from the topic of Bar Chart. The difficulty level of questions was relatively easy. Questions based on Geometry and Trigonometry were a little challenging. Candidates having good arithmetic knowledge and practice can attempt 16-18 questions easily.
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Analysis: English Language
The English Language section was Easy to Moderate. Maximum questions were asked from the following sections:

Just like yesterday, most of the questions were from the topics Reading Comprehension and Antonym/Synonym. Topics such as Sentence Correction, One word Substitution and Idioms/Phrases were a little challenging. Attempting 14-16 questions will be considered as a good attempt.
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Analysis: General Awareness
As expected, the level of difficulty for General Awareness section was Tough. The topic wise distribution is as follows:

The questions asked in the exam were easy to attempt but the MCQs were confusing in nature. Special focus was given to static portion but some National current affairs were also there in the paper. Attempting 12-14 questions will be considered as a good attempt.

mine was on 31st aug afternoon shift and there were altest 4-5 que’s which were either wrong or with wrong options.. they made a fool out of me and ate up a lot of time . n the server was also slow like it took 2-3 seconds to respond .. i ended up attempting only 56 .. where should i complain about this issue to ssc
I attempted 93 maybe 10 questions could be wrong
Start Preparing for SSC Tier II Examination, number of attempts are good but you have to score high in Tier II to get the Final Selection.
Dear friend i am also facing the same problem like ,in my time my questions are not scrolled properly that’s why i didn’t see two or three questions properly
Same thing happened with me. 27th Aug, morning shift. Server was very slow. When I told the invigilator he was like connectivity issue hoga.. such casual attitude at a national level exam. Wasted a lot of time. The answers were not getting registered. It was taking way too long.

Also Tel me whr to file a complain as my serve was also vry slow bcoz of which I was unable to save 4-5 questions after cliking 20-25 times on save button
It is reported by many aspirants that server is slow. Don’t worry its a problem for all so the cutoff will get affected accordingly.
