SSC CHSL 11th January Exam Analysis: The Staff Selection Commission has accelerated to Day V spot to complete the journey of SSC CHSL recruitment process. The day will trigger off in multiple shifts and the candidate who are able to crack CHSL Preliminary Examination will be called for the Mains Paper.

SSC CHSL 11th January Exam Analysis

We will initiate our article by introducing today’s SSC CHSL (10+2) exam pattern. SSC CHSL Paper had a new exam pattern this year, with separate marks for each section.

There were 4 sections in SSC CHSL Tier I examination namely General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and English Language.

There was negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. The total time duration of the paper was 75 Minutes. Now, let us talk about the level of the examination conducted on 11th January 2017.

Today’s paper had an overall Moderate Difficulty Levelwhich was quite obvious owing to the new exam pattern for SSC CHSL Preliminary examination. Let us move section-wise now:

SSC CHSL 11th January Exam Analysis: Quantitative Aptitude

SSC is repeating the same exam level & pattern. Similar to the previous days, a significant portion was from Arithmetic.

SSC CHSL 11th January Exam Analysis: English Language

As said earlier, SSC kept English language level the same. It was clearly seen that the paper was dominated by 2 sections – Grammar and Vocabulary.

In Vocabulary section, the utmost questions were from topics like Synonyms/ Antonyms, Idioms and Phrases and spellings correction. Talking of Grammar section, Sentence Improvement, Spot the Error, Sentence Completion, Active-Passive and Direct and Indirect speech raised problems for the candidates.

Overall, SSC CHSL English Section was Easy, The candidates who practised our SSC CHSL mock test based on recent papers rated the section easy.

SSC CHSL 11th January Exam Analysis: General Intelligence

The third part of our analysis will be SSC CHSL General Intelligence Section. As expected, this section was riddled with a lot of confusing questions.

SSC CHSL 11th January Exam: Good Attempts

After analysing previous year SSC CHSL Cut off and SSC CHSL level of examination, we have come to conclusion that overall SSC CHSL 2016 paper was of moderate level.
