SSC CHSL 12th January Exam Analysis & Review: The Staff Selection Commission will be conducting SSC CHSL (10+2) examination daily from January 7 to February 5, 2017. A simple calculation states that SSC has moved to Day VI exam shifts. The day will spark off in multiple shifts and the candidate who are able to crack CHSL Preliminary Examination will be called for the Mains Paper.

## SSC CHSL 12th January Exam Analysis

Like our previous blogs, we will commence our article by introducing SSC CHSL (10+2) exam pattern. As we all know that SSC CHSL Paper had a new exam pattern this year. Also, 50 marks were assigned separately to each section.

There were 4 sections in SSC CHSL Tier I examination namely General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and English Language.

There was negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. The total time duration of the paper was 75 Minutes. Now, let us talk about the level of the examination conducted on 12th January 2017.

Like previous days’ level, today’s paper had an overall Moderate Difficulty Level toowhich was quite obvious owing to the new exam pattern for SSC CHSL Preliminary examination. Let us move section-wise now:

### SSC CHSL 12th January Exam Analysis: Quantitative Aptitude

SSC is repeating the same exam level & pattern. Similar to the previous days, a significant portion was from Arithmetic.

The candidates who practised our SSC CHSL mock test based on recent papers rated the section: Moderate to Hard. Again, Most questions were from the topics like Arithmetic , Number System, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration and Trigonometry.

### SSC CHSL 12th January Exam Analysis: English Language

As said earlier, SSC kept English language level the same. It was clearly seen that the paper was dominated by 2 sections – Grammar and Vocabulary.

In Vocabulary section, the utmost questions were from topics like Synonyms/ Antonyms, Idioms and Phrases and spellings correction. Talking of Grammar section, Cloze Test, Sentence Improvement, Spot the Error, Active-Passive and raised problems for the candidates.

Overall, SSC CHSL English Section was Easy, The candidates who practised our SSC CHSL mock test based on recent papers rated the section easy.

### SSC CHSL 12th January Exam Analysis: General Intelligence

The third part of our analysis will be SSC CHSL General Awareness Section. As expected, this section was riddled with a lot of confusing questions.
