SSC CHSL Success Story: Kajal Gautam ( Joined Ministry of Communication)
Given below is the interview with Kajal Gautam conducted by the OnlineTyari Team
Q1. A brief introduction
A. I belong to Delhi. I have done technical engineering from Noida. Recently, I have joined as PA in the department of communication. In 2015 I completed my graduation, I was focused towards my career and my goal was clear that I want to join the Government sector. In 2015, I applied for SSC JE but couldn’t get through then I applied for SSC CGL & SSC CHSL and I got posted as PA in the ministry of communication.
Q2. What Made you choose this field of career?
A. I belong to a family where everyone is from the Government sector, My inspiration was my family and with their support and motivation I got into this sector and made them proud. I am happy and I think I have achieved my goal.
Q3. What was your Approach to the exam?
A. If you are a fresher and want to get into the government sector, you should get an idea about the exam first, go through the syllabus and exam pattern. Make a list of what can you do and what you can not do. According to that do your preparation. Write down your good and weak points. For General Awareness. For Maths: Go for NCERT books from 6 -10 and then go for competitive books and practice questions. For English Focus on Grammar and vocab section and Reasoning section is all about the logic you need the right trick to solve it.
Q4. How did you manage time section-wise?
A. It depends on your time. It is not necessary that if you will study 10-12 hours a day then only you can succeed. If you study even for 4 hours but with full dedication that is more than enough. Give less time to the section you are best at.
Q5. Did you encounter any challenges while preparing for SSC CHSL? How did you surmount them?
A. I have been preparing for the last 3 yrs and it was a challenge for me because when you apply for any government job and you don’t get through the first thing that hits you is depression. It happened to me also, I was demotivated because I was trying to get into government sector and couldn’t get a chance. What I’ve learned was that whatever you going through don’t demotivate yourself. Just wait for the right time and keep practicing.
Q6. How OnlineTyari helped you?
A. OnlineTyari blog and app helped me in preparing for my exam. The daily currents affairs are something that I would never miss.
“The harder you work for something, The greater you will feel when you achieve it”
Q7. Online or offline study? What would you suggest??
A. I would suggest online. Because most of the exams are conducted online. So it is better to study online and practice online mock test series. It gives you an idea of where you stand and tells you about your weak areas. Also, it gave you an idea of the exact exam pattern.
Q8. A piece of advice for fellow aspirants and dreamers that you would like to give?
A. As I told before if you are a fresher you need to start from zero. If are attempting for the second time. You must practice mock test series. It will give you an idea of your weak points and also it will help you to provide a complete analysis of your performance.
