SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Analysis 2016: The Staff Selection Commission has now entered Day 4 milestone in its exam cycle for the preliminary examination, beginning from 7th Jan 2017. The process will trigger off in multiple shifts and the candidate who are able to crack CHSL Preliminary Examination will be called for the Mains Paper.

This article is meant to provide the overall paper review on SSC CHSL Exam Analysis for all shifts of 10th January 2017. This segment will also contain section-wise difficulty level, types of questions and number of good attempts to qualify for the next level.

 

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Analysis: 10 January 2017

Let us start by introducing the exam pattern of SSC CHSL (10+2) recruitment examination. The SSC CHSL Paper had a new exam pattern this year, with separate marks for each section.

There were 4 sections in SSC CHSL Tier I examination namely General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and English Language.

There was negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. The total time duration of the paper was 75 Minutes. Now, let us talk about the level of the examination conducted on 10th January 2017.

The paper had an overall Moderate Difficulty Level, which was quite obvious owing to the new exam pattern for SSC CHSL Preliminary examination. The section-wise SSC CHSL Exam Analysis has been mentioned in the section below:

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Analysis for Quantitative Aptitude Section

To initiate our paper review for SSC Examination, let us fetch quant section. Similar to the previous days, a significant portion was from Arithmetic.

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Analysis for English Language Section

Moving next in our list, we will talk about the English section. It was clearly seen that the paper was dominated by 2 sections – Grammar and Vocabulary.

In Vocabulary section, the utmost questions were from topics like Synonyms/ Antonyms, Idioms and Phrases and spellings correction. Talking of Grammar section, Sentence Improvement, Spot the Error, Sentence Completion, Active-Passive and Direct and Indirect speech raised problems for the candidates. Overall SSC CHSL English Section was Easy, provided candidate had practised these sub-sections the most.

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Analysis for General Intelligence Section

The third part of our analysis will be SSC CHSL General Awareness Section. As expected, this section was riddled with a lot of confusing questions.

SSC CHSL Tier-I Exam 2016: Good Attempts
