SSC Stenographer Admit Card/ Call Letter 2016: Staff Selection Commission has released the admit card for SSC Stenographer Recruitment Examination 2016. Candidates who have applied for the post can now download the SSC Stenographer Admit Card from the official site of SSC. To access the admit card, candidates will have to enter their roll number or registration number. The written examination for SSC stenographer grade C and D will be conducted on 31st July 2016.

SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern 2016
The written examination for SSC Stenographer will consist of Objective MCQ based questions with the choice of English or Hindi pattern (except for part III). There will be 3 sections- General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and English Language. Each Question will carry 1 mark and the total will be 200 questions.

The Written Paper for SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2016 will carry 200 marks in total and the total time to solve the entire written paper will be 120 Minutes (2 Hours). For every negative answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern 2016 for Skill Test
The candidates who qualify in the written paper of SSC Stenographer will move to the next round which will be the skill test.
For Skill Test, the candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade C and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade D. The transcription time will be as follows:
For Stenographer Grade ‘C’ Post
- 40 minutes (English)
- 55 Minutes (Hindi)
For Stenographer Grade ‘D’ Post
- 50 minutes (English)
- 65 minutes (Hindi)
Detailed instructions regarding the SSC Stenographer Skill test will be sent by the concerned Regional/ Sub Regional Offices of the commission to the candidates selected for the skill test.
