UIIC AO Exam Analysis & Expected Cut Off 12 June 2016

UIIC AO Exam Analysis: United India Insurance conducted UIIC AO Written Examination today on 12 June. With an overwhelming number of aspirants appearing for the recruitment of Administrative Officer Scale 1, we expect the selection to be highly competitive.

UIIC AO Exam Analysis & Paper Review 2016

Let us ponder over UIIC Exam Pattern once again. The Written Paper consists of 200 Questions divided into 5 sections i.e. Reasoning, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Computer Knowledge and General Awareness.

We are happy to inform that the overall level of the objective paper was moderate. While Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude Sections were on the competitive side, other sections ranged between Easy to Moderate. Computer Knowledge Section was the scoring one as all questions were based on basics.

UIIC AO Exam Analysis of Reasoning Ability Section

The Level of the Questions was Moderate. A well-prepared candidate can attempt 27-29 Questions. Some major topics were:

  • Circular  Arrangement – 1 set ( 8 people sitting in a circle) 
  • Syllogism (3 Statement) – 1 Set
  • Complex Arrangement /Puzzle – 1 Set
  • Linear Sitting Arrangement– 2 Questions
  • Equality/Inequality – 5 Questions
  • Input/output – 5 Questions
  • Data Sufficiency – 5 Questions
  • Derivation of Statement- Assumption/ Interference/ Conclusion
  • Blood Relation
  • Direction

UIIC AO Exam Analysis of Quantitative Aptitude Section

There was a fair mix of challenging and moderate questions. A well prepared candidate could also find a few easy ones. Attempting 28-30 Questions with full accuracy can be considered as a good attempt. Some major topics were:

  • Data Interpretation (DI) – 3 set – Line Graph, Table Graph, Pie Chart (2 Conditional) – Moderate
  • Number Series – 5 Questions
  • Quadratic Equations/Linear Equation – 8 Questions
  • Simplification – 5 Questions
  • Profit & Loss
  • Time & Work
  • Time & Distance
  • Partnership
  • Ratio & Proportion
  • Problem on Ages

UIIC AO Exam Analysis of English Language 

English section was easy and a well-prepared candidate could attempt 24-26 questions. Topics from which the questions were asked:

  • Reading Comprehension – 10 Questions {Based on – Trust of the leader (Moderate)}
  • Cloze test – 10 Questions
  • Parajumble – 5 Questions
  • Spot the Error – 5 Questions
  • Sentence Improvement – 5 Questions

UIIC AO Exam Analysis of General Awareness

This section consists of Questions from Current Affairs (primarily from the previous 3 months ). Special focus was given to Insurance based Questions. Section was moderate as few Static Questions are also there and a well-prepared candidate can attempt 25-26 Questions easily.

UIIC AO Exam Analysis of Computer Knowledge

This was by far the most scoring section among all the other ones in UIIC AO Written Objective Examination 2016. Attempting 14-15 Questions with full accuracy can be considered as a good attempt. Some major topics are Software, Hardware, Microsoft Office, Operating System, Keyboard Shortcuts etc.

UIIC AO Exam Analysis of Descriptive Paper 

For UIIC AO Descriptive Examination, the candidate was allotted 30 minutes.

Part I: Letter Writing – 150 words

Questions are as follows and the candidate has to attempt any one:

  1. Write a letter to a branch to transfer your Endowment Policy to from one state to another.
  2. Letter to Friend for a Med Claim Policy

Part II: Essay Writing – 250 words

Questions are as follows and the candidate has to attempt any one:

  1. Taking an insurance policy is better option then taking in older age.
  2. Penetration in insurance in rural sector
  3. Explain Insurance is a subject matter of solicitation.

Based on the Difficulty Level of UIIC AO Written Examination, Number of Aspirants Appearing and Exam Pattern, we have calculated an expected cut off score for UIIC AO 2016. Please keep in mind that this is not the official cut off marks but only a predicted score.
