UPSC IAS Civil Services Examination 2016 Final Result: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Wednesday declared results of the prestigious civil services examination. IAS Final Result 2016-2017 contains roll numbers of candidates who are recommended for appointment to Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Central Services, Group A and Group B.

UPSC IAS Civil Services Examination 2016 Final Result Declared

The Final Merit List has been prepared based on the results of the written examination held in December 2016 and Personality Test Interview held between the months of March to May 2017. As per UPSC Official News, a total number of 1099 candidates (846 men and 253 women) have been selected for various posts. There are 220 other candidates on the waiting list. Providing yet again a huge push to women empowerment, the First Position has been secured by Nandini K R (Roll No. 0134810) followed by Anmol Sher Singh Bedi (0561724) and Gopalakrishna Ronanki (0147866) at 2nd and 3rd Positions respectively. The top 25 candidates comprise 18 men and 7 women.
