UPTET Exam Analysis 2016: Paper I
Initiating with the UPTET Paper I exam analysis:
- Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board conducted the Paper 1 of UPTET Exam on 19 December 2016.
- UPTET Paper I exam was conducted in the evening shift (2 pm to 4:30 pm).

UPTET Exam Analysis Paper I: Pedagogy
Overall, according to our UPTET Exam Analysis 2016 for Child Pedagogy, the paper was just as expected and strictly as per the given syllabus. On an average, candidates could have easily attempted 20-22 Questions without any trouble.
UPTET Exam Analysis Paper I: Hindi
Hindi Language section was easier as compared to previous year’s paper. A good attempts in this section would be 24-26.
UPTET Exam Analysis Paper I: English
English Language section question level was same as compared to that of previous year. On an average, candidates could have easily attempted 20-22 Questions without any trouble.
UPTET Exam Analysis Paper I: Mathematics
The Mathematics section this year was totally unexpected. It was more difficult than all of the TET Papers combined. A good attempts in this section would be 17-18.
UPTET Exam Analysis Paper I: EVS
Environmental Studies section question level was same as compared to previous year’s exam level. A good attempts in this section would be 21-23.
Note: The fixed Cut off Mark for qualifying UPTET exam is 60% or 90 Marks out of 150 for all the Unreserved Candidates.
UPTET Exam Analysis 2016: Paper II
Following the same pattern, UPTET Paper II exam analysis is as follows:
- Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board conducted the Paper 2 of UPTET Exam on 19 December 2016.
- UPTET Paper II exam was conducted in the morning shift (10.00 am to 12:30 pm)

Overall, according to our UPTET Exam Analysis 2016 for Child Pedagogy, the paper level was same as compared to previous year’s exam level . On an average, candidates could have easily attempted 22-24 Questions without any trouble.
UPTET Exam Analysis Paper II: English Language
English Language section was easier as compared to previous year’s paper. 22-24 attempts are good in English Language section.
UPTET Exam Analysis Paper II: Hindi Language
Hindi Language section was easier as compared to previous year’s paper. A good attempts in this section would be 24-26.
UPTET Exam Analysis Paper II: Mathematics & Science
This section was a little difficult for a person with Non-Science background specifically for those who never went through higher secondary mathematics. Overall, Mathematics & Science section was hard as compared to previous year’s paper. The number of good attempts would be 42-44 in Mathematics & Science section.
UPTET Exam Analysis Paper II: Social Science
There were a variety of questions on History, Geography, and Social Politics. Overall it was an easy paper, although there was an advantage for those who opted social sciences as compared those who opted Science and Mathematics. The number of good attempts would be 50-52 in Social Science section.
