65 BPSC Civil Services Exam 2019: Notification released
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the notification for the 65th Combined Preliminary Service examination 2019. The registration process for the prelims will begin July 10 and to continue till July 24, 2019. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website, bpsc.bih.nic.in.

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) conducts and chooses applicants for civil service jobs in the state according to the merits of the candidates and reservation rules. The commission comprises of seven members including its Chairman. Currently, the Chairman of BPSC is Shri Shishir Sinha.

APPLICATION FEESSTEPS TO APPLY ONLY FOR BPSC CIVIL SERVICES PRELIMS 2019
1) Log on to the official website, bpsc.bih.nic.in
2) Click on "BPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam 2019"
3) Read the advertisement details very carefully to ensure your eligibility before "Online Application"
4) Click on "Online Application" to fill up the application form online
5) The candidate would be directed to a page where he/she has to click on "Apply Online" (for the first time registration or new registration)/ already registered candidate just need to "Sign In" by using their application
6) number and password sent to their valid e-mail ID/Mobile No. (This is required always for logging in to their account for Form Submission and Admit Card/Call Letter Download)
7) Fill up the application form as per the guidelines and information sought
8)Candidates need to fill up to all required information in "First Screen" tab and click on "SUBMIT" to move next screen.
9) Fill the all details in the application & upload Photo, Signature.
10) Application fee should be paid through Online & then Submit the Form.
11)Take a print out of online application for future use.
The deadline for paying the application fee is 30 July, whereas the last date to submit the online application is 24 July.

To get recruited through Bihar Public Service Commission, candidates need to clear the three stages of the exam which are as follows:

Syllabus for the BPSC Preliminary Exam
The syllabus for the BPSC Preliminary exam is the same as that of the previous exams of the BPSC. It covers the aspects of General Science, Polity, Economy, History and the National Movement. The candidates have to go through the syllabus and prepare themselves well because the exam will have the questions of good standard. Here is a detailed syllabus of the BPSC Preliminary exam:
Syllabus for the BPSC Mains Exam
1. Syllabus of Hindi
Essay Writing – 30 Marks.
Grammar – 30 Marks.
Sentence Formation – 25Marks.
Others – 15 marks

4. Optional Paper
In Optional Paper, a candidate is required to choose any one subject. This paper will be of 300 marks and it will have a time limit of 3 hours. There are 34 Optional subjects in the Main exam. The syllabus of the Optional Paper will be same as that of the Three- Year Honours Paper of the respective subject of Patna University. Here is the list of the Optional Subjects:

BPSC Interview
The candidates who qualify the BPSC Main exam are called for the final stage of the exam i.e. Interview. The interview carries 120 marks.

The detailed job profile of all of these posts differ from each other. The approximate salary ranges between INR 34,000 to INR 93,000 per month.
