CISF Recruitment 2019 Notification

Central Industrial Security Force has announced 429 Head constable vacancies. All eligible candidates who are interested to secure a job in CISF as a Head Constable can visit the official website and fill up the application form online on or before 20th February 2019.

 

About Exam

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was raised in 1969 with modest three battalions to provide integrated security cover to Public Sector Undertakings. In a span of four and half decades CISF has grown manifold. At present its strength has reached to one lakh thirty nine thousand and four hundred personnel

Application Process

The candidates who seek recruitment into the vacancies of CISF Head Constable / Ministerial posts in 2019 will have to pay an Application Fee to have their application forms successfully validated by the Central Industrial Security Force(CISF)

Vacancies

In this recruitment total of 429 vacancies has been released. In total 328 vacancies are reserved for the male candidates while only 34 vacancies are for the female candidates. However, the LDCE post will be filled for 64 vacancies by only departmental applications.

 

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates is based on their qualification of stages in the recruitment process. The candidates have to undergo the following examinations

The test will be of 100 Questions

 

  • Each Question will carry 1 marks each
  • The test will be either OMR or Computer based test
  • The written test will be bilingual; both English & Hindi
  • The written exam qualifying marks for General/Ex-Servicemen is 35%
  • The written exam qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC is 33% 

Physical Standards

The requirements in male candidates for Physical Standard Test (PST) are tabulated below:

Skill Test

The candidates who will qualify the written / online examination have to appear in skill test. The candidates will be tested for the typing speed on Computer in Hindi and English.

 

  • English typing speed should be a minimum of 35 WPM.
  • Hindi typing speed should be minimum 30 WPM
