Online registration for HSSC Police Constable/SI Recruitment 2019 begins today
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Panchkula will begin the application process for recruitment of Constable from today. Application forms for 5,000 constable posts for male and 1,000 constable posts for female are invited. The application form can only filled online at HSSC's official website till June 26.

HSSC Recruitment 2019: Apply for the Posts of Constable, Sub Inspector from June 12 Onwards
According to Haryana Staff Selection Commission’s official circular, as many as 6,400 group C posts in Haryana’s Police department and 400 sub inspector posts, for which only male candidates can apply, are vacant. Further, the HSSC 2019 application forms for 5,000 and 1,000 constable posts for male and female respectively are invited. HSSC Recruitment 2019: Application Form
The HSSC Constable and Sub Inspector 2019 application form fee can be paid in both online and bank challan mode. The steps to fill the application form are given below-
Step 1- Visit official HSSC website.
Step 2- Check for tab saying apply for HSSC Constable and Sub Inspector posts
Step 3- Click it and read the terms and conditions before applying
Step 4- Register yourself by creating login id, password
Step 5- Provide all required details, application fee and upload the needed documents
Step 6- Preview the application, then, submit it and take a print out
HSSC Police Constable & Sub Inspector Recruitment 2019: Application Fee
For Constable: The application fee is Rs 100 for all general category applicants, except Haryana female residents as they have to remit just Rs 50. Whereas, female Haryana state applicants belonging from SC/BC/EWS quota have to pay Rs 13.
For Sub Inspector: All general category non Harayana residents have to Rs 150 and female residents of Haryana state have to Rs 75. While the application form is free of cost for Haryana ex-service category of applicants.

Selection Process of HSSC Police Constable & Sub Inspector Recruitment 2019
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Knowledge Test (80%) + Physical Screening Test and Physical Measurement Test (qualifying nature) + Additional qualification(10%) + Miscellaneous (10%).
1. Knowledge Test (80%): The Knowledge Test shall be of the objective type having hundred (100) multiple choice questions of 0.80 marks each and test shall be of ninety (90) minutes duration.
2. Physical Screening Test and Physical Measurement Test (qualifying nature): Candidates equalling seven (07) times the number of vacancies in each category shall be declared to have qualified the Knowledge Test.

Only the candidates who qualify the standards prescribed for physical Screening Test shall be allowed to take part in the further process of Selection.
Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
•The candidates who have qualified the physical screening Test shall have to undergo physical Measurement Test.
•The candidates who fail to meet the standards prescribed for Physical Measurement test shall stand eliminated from further selection process.
3. Additional Qualiication [10% weightage=Education(07 Marks)+NCC Certificate (03 Marks)]

05 Marks : Shall be given such aspirants if neither the applicant nor any family member not in Government Jobs.

Age Criteria for Haryana Police Constable & Sub Inspector Recruitment 2019
Constable
18-25 years (On the first day of the month in which the application are invited for recruitment of constable i.e onn 01.06.2019)
Sub-Inspector
21-27 years (On the first day of the month in which the appliation are invited for recruitment of Sub-Inspector i.e on 01.06.2019)
Relaxation in Age
i) For the candidate belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Backward Class Categories relaxation in upper age limit of 5 year shall be given as per Govt. Instruction issued from time to time.
ii) For Ex-servicemen Candidates, relaxation up to continuous Military service added by four years is permissible.
Educational Qualification for Haryana Police Constable & Sub Inspector Recruitment 2019
Male/Female Constable (General Duty)
•Candidates should be 12th pass
•or equivalent from a recognized Board and should have studied Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subject in 10th or higher secondary.
Sub-Inspector (Male)
•Candidates should have passed Graduation from a recognized University and
•Should have studied Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subject in 10th or higher secondary.

General Studies
In this objective of questions about general knowledge of surrounding society of the candidates to test the awareness about surrounding activities. History of India (Haryana mostly) & its Adjacent Countries, Culture, Geography, Economical Scenario and Constitution of India & State Administration, Political series of Country, Five-Year Plan, Contribution of Haryana in National Movement.
Agriculture
Knowledge of History/ Facts of Agriculture, Fruits & Vegetable, Crop Production, Soil, Fertility, Fertilizing, Irrigation and Damage, Weed/Pests Control, Types of Crops, Soil & Land, Horticulture, Plantation and Deforestation etc.
Animal Husbandry
Animal Nutrition and nutritional importance, Animal breeds, importance of animal, Livestock farming, Dairy, diseases and symptoms in animal etc.
Reasoning
It will include the question of both verbal and non-verbal type. Question will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, problem solving, relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions, Venn diagrams, relationship concepts and Ability to observe and distinguish patterns etc.
Current Affairs
Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, General Science, General Knowledge. Focus will be mainly on Current affairs of National & International news, Important dates, Current Science, Technology, Sports & Culture.
Numerical Ability
The test of Arithmetical and Numerical abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.
General Science
These tests are designed to test the knowledge and competencies for scientific methodology concepts, principles, techniques and physics, chemistry, life sciences (Biology), the earth/space sciences, technologies etc.
Computer Knowledge
Basics of Computer, Software, Memory, Microsoft Office, Internet etc.
