Margaret Atwood and Bernardine Evaristo are the joint winners of 2019 Booker Prize which was declared on 15th October, after the judges broke their rules by declaring a tie.

Booker Prize:
The leading literary award in the English speaking world, which has brought recognition, reward and readership to outstanding fiction for over 50 years. Awarded annually to the best novel of the year written in English and published in the UK or Ireland. The prize is open to writers of any nationality and first awarded in 1969. For the first time in 2019, the Booker Prize for Fiction is supported by venture capitalist Michael Moritz and novelist wife Harriet Heyman’s charitable foundation Crankstart, rather than the Man Group.
