GOVERNMENT LAUNCHES HONEY FPO PROGRAMME IN 5 STATES

Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, virtually inaugurated Honey Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) Programme in five states, for producing honey. These 5 FPOs will be set up by the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Limited (NAFED). They will be set up at - East Champaran (Bihar), Morena (Madhya Pradesh), Bharatpur (Rajasthan), Mathura (Uttar Pradesh), Sunderbans (West Bengal).

BSF'S RAISING DAY

The Border Security Force is celebrating its 56th Raising Day. The Border Security Force came into force in 1965 replacing the state armed police who were guarding the Indo-Pakistan Border.

FOUNDATION DAY OF NAGALAND STATE

Nagaland is celebrating its 58th Statehood Day. It became the 16th State of the Union of India on 1st December 1963.

THE FIRST EVER SCO ONLINE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION ON SHARED BUDDHIST HERITAGE COMMENCES

SCO Council of Heads of Government launched the first-ever SCO Online Exhibition on Shared Buddhist Heritage. It is developed and curated by the National Museum, New Delhi, in active collaboration with SCO member countries.

EXPLAINED: DAY OF REMEMBRANCE FOR ALL VICTIMS OF CHEMICAL WARFARE

The Day of Remembrance for all Victims of Chemical Warfare is an annual event held November 30 as a "tribute to the victims of chemical warfare, as well as to reaffirm the commitment of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) to the elimination of the threat of chemical weapons, thereby promoting the goals of peace, security, and multilateralism."
