Jan-Soochna Portal launched in Rajasthan

Ashok Gehlot, The Chief Minister of Rajasthan launched an information Jan-Soochna Portal under the Rajasthan Innovation Vision (RAJIV) at B.M Birla auditorium.

Joint Military Exercise between India and Thailand to be held

Maitree,a joint military exercise between India and Thailand would be conducted from 16th September 2019 to 26th September 2019 at Foreign Training Node, Umroi, in Meghalaya. Maitree is being conducted between the armies of Thailand and India since 2006.

Scientific Social Responsibility (SSR) draft

Prime Minister recommended about the scientific social responsibility (SSR) for leading scientific institutions on the lines of corporate social responsibility (CSR) inorder to promote scientific excellence in all stakeholders including educational institutions. India would become the first country in the world to implement Scientific Social Responsibility (SSR) on the grounds of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Hindi Diwas 2019

Hindi Diwas is observed on 14th of September every year. The Hindi, written in Devangari script was declared as the official Language of India by the constituent Assembly on 14th of September 1949 on the occasion of 50th birth anniversary of Behor Rajendra Simha(He was the pro-Hindi speaker).

India bags 34 medals in 10th Asia Pacific Youth Games

Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju congratulated Indian contingent for excellent performance in the 10th Asian Pacific Youth Games in Vladivostok. India bagged total 16 gold, 13 silver and 5 bronze medals in seven different sports. Yoshiki won gold in the girl’s singles while the girl's doubles team also won gold in Table Tennis. The Indian swimming team bagged the first position in their sport.

Government declared a train service to Bangladesh from Tripura by next year

Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region declared that the Railway link service between the Agartala-Akhaura in Bangladesh will be completed by 2020 for Development of Northeastern Region (DoNER). The project can link Agartala with Bangladesh Railway Network at Akhaura.
