Recently, the Ministry of Tourism has released 3 draft strategies to support the tourism sector in consequence of the covid-19 pandemic. Draft strategies were presented with roadmaps to foster India as a rural and medical tourism destination. It aims at promoting India as an accessible and affordable destination for medical treatments and wellness courses.
On June 22-23, 2021, India will host a two-day summit on Green Hydrogen initiatives for the BRICS nations.

According to the report, Drought is a secret worldwide emergency that can turn into “the next pandemic” if no critical move is made on water and land and handle environmental crises. About 1.5 billion individuals are directly affected by drought this century.
As per the US India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), India and the United States have launched a hydrogen task force under “Strategic Clean Energy Partnership (SCEP)” which will boost India’s energy security efforts. The US-India Hydrogen Task Force was formed to serve as a forum to accomplish affordable hydrogen solutions.
June 19th was officially designated as World Sickle Cell Awareness Day. The international awareness day is observed annually with the goal to increase public knowledge and an understanding of sickle cell disease, and the challenges experienced by patients and their families and caregivers.
In partnership with FICCI, Novartis, Piramal Foundation, Apollo Hospitals, NASCO and GASCDO to commemorate the World Sickle Cell Disease Day on 19th June 2021, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MOTA) organized the 2nd Online National Conclave on 'Sickle Cell Disease in India'.
On 20th June 2021, Union Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment, Shri Thaawarchand Gehlot, announced to set up “Divyangta Khel Kendras” across the country. These will be set up to work towards the interest of Divyangjans in sports and their good performance in the Paralympics.
