Kerala HC: Access to internet is basic right

The Kerala High Court on 19 Sept held that the right to have access to the Internet is part of the fundamental right to education as well as the right to privacy under Article 21 of the Constitution.

ISRO planning to launch Aditya L-1 in 2020

ISRO is already planning its next ambitious launch and this time, it's aiming for the Sun.

The Aditya-L1 is the first Indian mission to study the Sun that will launch in 2020. At the moment, the future of ISRO's mission to the Moon faces an uncertain future. The ISRO Aditya-L1 mission was earlier named as Aditya-1.

India, Mongolia sign MoUs and release Joint statement

India and Mongolia released a joint statement on September 20, 2019 after bilateral talks between Indian President Ram Nath Kovind and visiting Mongolian President Khaltmaagiin Battulga. The President of Mongolia, Khaltmaagiin Battulga, is on a state visit to India from September 19-23, 2019 at the invitation of Indian President Ram Nath Kovind.

Ola drivers to get healthcare benefits under Ayushman Bharat

Thousands of drivers working with cab aggregator Ola will receive health benefits under the Ayushman Bharat health scheme in Delhi NCR, according to a statement by the company. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed with Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana(AB-PJAY) and National Health Authority to provide secondary and tertiary care to drivers and their families.

Bajrang Punia won a bronze medal at the World Wrestling Championships

India's Bajrang Punia put behind the disappointment of a heartbreaking semi-final defeat to finish with a bronze at Wrestling World Championships in Nur-Sultan on 20 Sept. Bajrang defeated Mongolia's Tulga Ochir 8-7 in the bronze medal match of 65kg freestyle category.

Centre to set up National Police University

Centre has announced its plan to set-up state-of-the-art National Police University (NPU) at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The proposal was initiated by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
