China’s Chang’e-5 lunar mission became the 1st probe in over 4 decades to attempt to bring back samples of lunar rock from a previously unexplored portion of the Moon on November 24. The spacecraft will return to Earth around December 15.

The media of China claimed that a new border village built by China near Bhutan was on Chinese territory. But the images released by Chinese Media show its location on territory quarrelled by the 2 countries. Bhutan’s officials denied the village being in their territory saying that there is no Chinese territory inside Bhutan.
The Pilibhit Tiger Reserve and the Uttar Pradesh Forest Department won the first international award TX2. The Pilibhit Tiger Reserve is situated in the Pilibhit district and Shahjahanpur District of Uttar Pradesh.
TX2 International Award is presented in partnership with WWF, UNDP, Global Tiger Forum (GTF), The Lion’s Share, IUCN-Integrated Tiger Habitat Conservation Programme (ITHCP) and Conservation Assured Tiger Standards (CA|TS).
The Union Information Technology Minister Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad launched the International version of the UMANG - Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance application on November 23, 2020. It was launched only in the selected countries namely the UK, Canada, US, Australia, Netherlands, New Zealand, UAE, Australia and Singapore. It will help Indian international students, Indian tourists abroad and NRIs to use Government of India services.
