59th Raising Day of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) was organized. Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) was brought under the CRPF Act in 1962, but later in 1992, the parliament of India enacted a separate Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) Act and provided a proper framework for it. This force is a border-guarding force that guards the Himalayan borders of India from the Ladakh region to Arunachal Pradesh.
The Indus civilisation is also known as the Harappan Civilisation. Traces were seen in cooking vessels indicating that milk may have been boiled and consumed. Residues in a bowl showing that either heated milk or curd could have been served. There are also remains of a perforated vessel, and similar vessels were used in Europe to make cheese. Cows and water buffalo were found to consume millets, while sheep and goats ate nearby grass and leaves.
Kalapani Territory represents the basin of the Kalapani river, one of the headwaters of the Kali River in the Himalayas at an altitude of 3600–5200 meters. The valley of Kalapani, with the Lipulekh Pass at the top, forms the Indian route to Kailash–Manasarovar, an ancient pilgrimage site.
The Indian general election of 1951–52, held from 25 October 1951 to 21 February 1952, was the first election to the Lok Sabha since India became independent in August 1947. It was conducted under the provisions of the Indian Constitution, which was adopted on 26 November 1949. Elections to most of the state legislatures took place simultaneously.
