First Buddhist Circuit train

The India will run its first Buddhist Circuit train between India and Nepal from October 19 to 26th October 2019.The train journey will cover to Gautam Buddha’s life in both India and Nepal.

Key points:–

  • This train tour is owned & operated by IRCTC Ltd.
  • The IRCTC is offering many attractive packages for tourists desiring to undertake the Buddhist Circuit tour.
  • An Air conditioned Rajdhani Express sleeper train, offering three different classes of travel these are as follows:–

(1) first class

(2) two tier

(3) three tier

  • There are limited toilets with showers on the train.
  • There are daily bases freshen up & for brief rest, or at times overnight stay.
  • There is an onboard hygienic kitchen car facility & passengers are served sumptuous hot meals.
  • An AC class package cost are Rs. 1,23,900 per couple, while AC two tier package cost are Rs. 1,01,430.
  • The train will have new rake consists of four first AC coaches with 96 seats, two second AC coaches with 60 seats, two exclusive dining cars with a capacity of 64 guest in each and a pantry car.
  • There will be an onboard hygienic kitchen car and dining car facility. Passengers can enjoy with their hot fresh meal.
  • Drinking water and tea, coffee will be available all the time in the train.
  • Below five years of age children are exempted from the fare.

Lumbini : Located in nepal, near indian border.

Shravasti : Considered amongst the six largest cities in india in 5th century bc.
