First-ever International Buyer-Seller Meet

The first-ever International Buyer-Seller Meet is held in Arunachal Pradesh. It is organised by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) under the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Key Points:

  • Ten International buyers from seven countries of Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia, UAE, Sultanate of Oman and Greece participated in the meet and spoke with the exporters.
  • This meeting encourages the world nations to take a look at the products of the nation and also boosts the trade of North-eastern region of the country.
  • This meeting also provides the market linkages to the Northeastern region and promotes the exports of agricultural produce.
