The Fishery Project in Lamhai Dunki district, Peren district, Nagaland, has been implemented by the Fisheries Department agency, Nagaland, with the Ministry of Development of the North Eastern Region.

About Fishery Project:

  • The project is located in Lamhai Dunki Village, Peren, Nagaland.
  • The authorized cost of the project is Rs. 334.00 lakhs and the North Eastern Council allocation is Rs. 300.60 lakhs, and the state’s share is Rs. 33.40 lakh.
  • The average fish production is around 30753 kg from this project, and the annual profit is estimated at Rs. 430 lakh.
  • The recurring increase in total fish production in government creates local employment and narrows the fish demand and supply gap.
