INDO-OMAN Joint Ex Al Nagah 2019

A joint military exercise between India and Royal Army of Oman AL Nagah commenced on 13 March 2019 at Jabel regiment headquarters, Nizwa (Oman).

A 60-member strong Indian Army contingent, based in northern command headquarters at Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir, is taking part in the military exercise 'Al-Nagah III'.

The exercise is scheduled to to end on March 25 at Jabel Al Akhdar Mountains.

The opening ceremony saw the unfurling of the national flags of both countries with Omani and Indian soldiers standing side by side signifying the growing cooperation, synergy and understanding between both the countries.

This is the III edition of joint military exercise of Al Nagh.

It was started in 2016.

Oman, officially the Sultanate of Oman, is an Arab country on the south eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula in Western Asia.

Its official religion is Islam.

Oman’s Capital: Muscat
