Context: Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi launched the Jan Samarth portal on 6th June 2022.

Key Points:

  • This portal will improve the lives of students, farmers, business people and MSME entrepreneurs and will help them in realising their dreams.
  • The portal will be an ‘end-to-end delivery platform’, and more people will come forward to avail of loans because of the ease of compliance, he said.
