Details

• She is a 21-year-old swimming teacher from Thirsk in North Yorkshire and reached the island of Antigua, the Caribbean nation.
• She completed the journey in 70-days three hours and 48 minutes in the west to east direction.
• She also raised £10,000 for charity as part of the Atlantic Challenge.
• The previous record was held by 22-year-old Katie Spotz from the USA who rowed the Atlantic east-to-west.
