Largest Data Center Facility of India, inaugurated by Yotta Infrastructure

Yotta Infrastructure, a subsidiary of Hiranandani Group, inaugurates India’s largest data centre. It is called Yotta NM1. It is located in the 600-acre Hiranandani Fortune City in Panvel. It was inaugurated online by the chief minister of Maharashtra and Minister for Communications, Electronics & Information Technology and Law & Justice.

Key Points:

• The data centre is capable of providing 7200 racks and 50MW of power with 48-hour backup.
• It is the first among the five data centre buildings present at Yotta Data Center Park, will have an overall capacity of 250 MW power and 30,000 racks.
• The first DC Yotta NM1 offers to host content, the global cloud and OTT operators along with the mission-critical applications of enterprises and governments.
• NM1 Yotta’s highly redundant on-site power infrastructure will soon be replaced by an on-site captive gas-based co-gen power plant and its own captive solar power plant and. Thus it delivers a long term reliable, green and cost-effective source of power to its hosted customers.
• By Uptime Institute, USA, the NM1 data centre, received an award recently. It is a fault-tolerant tier IV certification of Design Documents Certification by Uptime Institute, which is issued in over 98 countries.
