Pankaj Advani won Asian Snooker Championship 2019 in Doha

India's ace snooker player Pankaj Advani has clinched the 35th men's Asian Snooker Championship 2019 in Doha to complete a career grand slam in cue sports.

Advani defeated Thanawat Tirapongpaiboon in the final on June 21 to become the only one to win the Asian and World championships in all formats of Snooker.

He conquered the ACBS Asian Snooker events - 6-red (short format) and 15-red (long format) - along with the IBSF World Championships in both formats too.

About championship

The ACBS Asian Snooker Championship is the premier non-professional snooker tournament in Asia. The event series is sanctioned by the Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports and started from 1984. 

The Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports is an organisation that governs non-professional snooker and English billiards in the asian region. The Asian Billiards & Snooker Federation, now renamed the Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports, was officially inaugurated in 1984. It headquartered in Doha, Qatar.
