On 20th January 2020 the PM Shri Narendra Modi interacted with the students as part of "Pariksha Pe Charcha 2020" at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. Also, 50 Divyang students took part in the interaction programme. The students sought guidance on various issues of importance to them from the Prime Minister. Even this year, students from across the country, and also Indian students residing abroad, participated in the event. It was stressed that in whatever the country does in this decade, those kids who are in 10th, 11th and 12th standards have a very great role to play, to make the country reach new heights, to achieve new hopes. And all this is dependent on this new generation.

He stressed on how to deal with demotivation and mood swings — stating that most often, students get demotivated due to factors which are external to them and also as they try to attach too much significance to their expectations. PM asked the students to find out the cause for the demotivation and think over how to deal with it. He also pointed out that Balancing Extracurricular Activities and Studies, stating that not pursuing extracurricular activities can make a student like a robot. And balancing studies and extracurricular activities would require better and optimal time management by the students.
