(i) Ameliorate (V.): make (something bad or unsatisfactory) better.

Pronunciation:  अमील्यरेट / अमील्यरैट

Hindi Translations: सुधरना, सुधारना, उन्नति करना, उन्नति देना

Synonyms:  Improve, Better, Meliorate, Amend, Correct, Advance, Refine

Antonyms: Worsen, Deteriorate, Aggravate, Exacerbate, Debase, Exasperate

Usage: Self - talk can ameliorate our status.

Meaning: स्वयं से बात हमारी स्थिति को सुधार सकती है।

(ii) Diligence (N.): careful and persistent work or effort.

Pronunciation:  डिलजन्स / डिलिजन्स / डिलिजन्स

Hindi Translations: अध्यवसाय, अविराम, उद्यम, उद्योग, तत्परता, परिश्रम, लगन, कर्मठता

Synonyms:  Assiduity, Industry, Industry, Persistence, Attention, Patience, Application

Antonyms: Laziness, Casual Attitude, Lethargy, Foolishness, Neglect, Carelessness

Usage: Diligence is the mother of success.

Meaning: परिश्रम सफलता की जननी है।

(iii) Apotheosis (N.): the highest point in the development of something; culmination or climax.

Pronunciation:  अपाथीओसस / अपाथीओसिस

Hindi Translations: आदर्श, उत्कृष्टता, गुणगान, दैवत्वारोपण, दैवीकरण

Synonyms:  Paragon, Epitome, Ideal, Deification, Quintessence, Embodiment, Nonesuch

Antonyms: Shame, Fiend, Devil, Grouch, Damn, Debasement

Usage: He was the apotheosis of integrity.

Meaning: वह अखंडता का आदर्श था।

(iv) Pervade (V.): (especially of a smell) spread through and be perceived in every part of.

Pronunciation:  पर्वेड / पर्वैड

Hindi Translations: पैठना, फैलाना, तर करना, प्रवेश करना, घुस जाना, घुस आना

Synonyms:  Permeate, Fill, Penetrate, Imbue, Infiltrate, Saturate, Suffuse, Diffuse

Usage: Feelings of self confidence, power, and euphoria pervade in him.

(v) Incidental (Adj.): accompanying but not a major part of something.

Pronunciation:  इन्सिडेन्टल

Hindi Translations: आकस्मिक, प्रासंगिक, संलग्न, जुड़ा हुआ

Synonyms:  Fortuitous, Casual, Accidental, Chance, Random, Adventitious, Occasional

Antonyms: Basic, Essential, Fundamental, Important, Inherent,                 Intrinsic

Usage: Any resemblance of a character in this book to a living person is purely incidental.

Meaning: इस पुस्तक में उल्लेखित व्यक्तिरेखा का किसी भी जीवित व्यक्ति से समानता का आभास केवल प्रासंगिक है।
