World Health Organisation endorses India developed tech-TrueNAt MTB

The WHO has endorsed the technology developed by Indian scientists to detect the disease called TrueNat MTB with respect to its accuracy.

TRueNat MTB

The TrueNat MTB test is a new molecular test developed by the Indian scientists that can diagnose Tuberculosis in 1 hour.

The TrueNat MTB test uses polymerase chain reaction to detect Tuberculosis bacteria.

Note:

The Government of India has renamed its National TB Control Programme to National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme in line with the goal of India in eliminating the disease by the year 2025.
